Gerhardt Braun Gallery is pleased to invite you to the opening of the third exhibition by Andreas Klier.
At the age of 50, Klier reaches this milestone with a body of work that feels both urgent and full of life. Inspired by the emotional intensity of early German Expressionism, his paintings are built from strong black brushstrokes and fine, quick lines in bright colors, sometimes in aggressive neon, that seem to vibrate on the canvas.
At a moment when the weight of the world feels inescapable, Klier makes a deliberate and defiant choice: joy. His work is an act of resistance against heaviness and a reminder that color itself can be a form of courage.
