Heiner Meyer at the Museo Lázaro Galdiano as part of Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend 2025
Renowned German artist Heiner Meyer is currently presenting a sculpture in the courtyard of the Museo Lázaro Galdiano as part of Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend 2025.
Internationally acclaimed for his Pop Art sculptures and paintings, Meyer’s work explores themes of feminine beauty and luxury culture. His pieces are included in major museums and private collections around the world. Born in Bielefeld, Germany, in 1953, Meyer began his artistic journey as a studio assistant to Salvador Dalí in Cadaqués, later studying at the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig.
The sculpture is on view from 11 September to 26 October in the museum’s garden, located at Calle Serrano 122, 28006 Madrid, with free entry.
Visitors can also enjoy a selection of other sculptures by various artists, presented by different galleries, transforming the garden into a vibrant and enriching open-air exhibition within this historic setting.
